Industry Insights
According to statistics, the drinking population in China accounts for 33.8% of the total population (approximately 470 million people), with 26% (approximately 123 million people) being excessive drinkers.
65% of people engage in unhealthy drinking habits, consuming more than 40 grams of alcohol daily for over 5 years. Among them, 48% will suffer from varying degrees of alcoholic liver disease. For individuals who have been drinking continuously for 8 years, with a daily average alcohol consumption of 227 grams, 33% will develop alcoholic hepatitis, and 14% will develop alcoholic cirrhosis. The number of deaths in China caused by alcohol-related conditions reaches as high as 410,000 annually. With the increasing number of drinkers, alcohol-induced liver damage diseases are on the rise.
The China Alcoholic Drinks Association has released the "2020 Blue Book on Moderate Drinking for a Happy Life" and more.
To address the issue of alcohol-induced liver damage, Wecare Probiotics has launched a composite powder solution combining multiple patented star strains, including Bacillus coagulans BC99, Pediococcus pentosaceus PP06, and Lactobacillus rhamnosus WKA55. This solution aims to protect the liver and effectively mitigate alcohol-related harm while allowing drinkers to enjoy themselves.
Alcohol Elimination - Bacillus coagulans BC99
Through research, it has been found that ADH (alcohol dehydrogenase) and ALDH (aldehyde dehydrogenase) enzymes are identified in the protein composition of Bacillus coagulans BC99. Alcohol metabolism in the human body primarily depends on the metabolic detoxification enzymes in the liver (ADH and ALDH). ADH converts alcohol into carcinogenic acetaldehyde, which is further oxidized by ALDH into non-toxic acetic acid.

Alleviating Ethanol-Induced Liver Injury - Pediococcus pentosaceus PP06
Pediococcus pentosaceus PP06 can increase microbial diversity and improve the decrease in short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) caused by alcohol intake. Data shows that the modified gut microbiota, SCFAs, and intestinal barrier contribute to alleviating systemic inflammation and liver damage.

Liver Fat Reduction and Protection - Lactobacillus rhamnosus WKA55
Lactobacillus rhamnosus WKA55 possesses strong free radical scavenging abilities, assisting in the removal of excess free radicals from the body and enhancing antioxidant capacity to reduce liver damage. Additionally, Lactobacillus rhamnosus WKA55 exhibits strong adhesion to intestinal epithelial cells, improving intestinal barrier function. Mouse experiments have shown that Lactobacillus rhamnosus WKA55 can reduce liver index values, improve liver swelling, inhibit serum transaminase activity caused by alcohol-induced liver damage, and significantly contribute to liver fat reduction and protection.
